Reader matter:

i have already been online dating this guy for a month and a half. The two of us have youngsters and schedules which can be difficult.

I had a no cost weekend, so we had an opportunity to spend time together. He had a prior responsibility to house-sit for a pal. The guy never pointed out he was house-sitting until he was on his way here, and then he failed to actually ask if I wished to go!

This hurt my emotions. In my experience, it appeared like an excellent mini-vacation. Have always been I overreacting about not-being asked?

Gina Stewart’s Answer:

In short, yes. A month and half of dating isn’t really an important length of time for truth be told there as a hope to invite you on a mini-vacation or even someone else’s house.

Was it inconsiderate of him to not tell you howevern’t be around for the week-end just as a point of courtesy? Indeed, and to that, your emotions getting hurt is actually a legitimate reaction.

You saw a chance to take advantage of your own complimentary week-end and it failed to pan away. Not surprisingly, that’s unsatisfactory, but it is not a thing possible pin duty on him for.
